Lifetime Client Model

Beyond the Bottomline

What do our clients want? What do they deserve?

We believe that clients want to do business with professionals who really care about them more than their bottomline.

It was late October in Georgia and the temperatures were the thing of nightmares for middle-aged dads. Cold enough at night to make you want to turn the heat on.  Hot enough in the day you consider whether to run the AC.  Being a frugal middle aged Dad - I made my family suffer on both ends by turning everything off.

My Wife finally convinced me after a chilly night that it was time. After the heat didn't come on I put on my DIY hat and turned to YouTube.  It seemed like an easy fix but I've been banned from trying to fix major issues in our house (plumbing shouldn’t be that complicated).  I Ended up calling one of the big guys. You probably know their jingle from the radio. After waiting a few days, a rep came to our house and tried his best  to convince us that we needed a whole new unit.  In fact he spent more time trying to sell us than he did looking at the actual problem.

I mean - I didn't even want to turn the Heat on, much less buy a whole new unit.  I remembered a referral from a friend. A mom and Pop shop that was promised to give me the honest truth. Within 24 hours they were in my attic. He wasn't a salesman. You could tell he had forgotten more about Hvac units than most people know about them. After unplugging the circuit board, sharing his thoughts on the conspiracy of BIG HVAC, and plugging the circuit board back in - Heat was pumping into my house.

He came quickly, He didn't sell me anything, He fixed my immediate problem, charged me a minimal fee to come out and asked me not to post their info on the community Facebook page because they already had too much business to handle. I guess that's what you get for telling the truth.

Who do you think I'm going to call next time I have a problem? Who do you think I've already told dozens of people about?

Do our clients see us the same way? Did we initially meet with them quickly? Take our salesman hat off? Help them with their immediate problem?  Give them the unvarnished truth about what we believe? Have we foregone payment because it was the right thing to do? Did we actually care for them the way we would care for our family members?

We think clients treated this way turn into lifelong clients that can't help but to tell others about us.

I'm looking for professionals that can truly help my clients solve their most challenging problems with the unvarnished truth. Professionals that will leave my clients feeling the same way I felt when Jim left my house after fixing my heat - With a feeling of satisfaction. Wanting to tell everyone I just received way more value than I paid for.

It's a fight that we are willing to embark on. A fight that we think is worth it. A fight that will see its ups and downs as markets and uncontrollable issues run rampant. A fight that will leave clients feeling as if the value they are receiving is far more than what they are paying for. A fight that leaves us asking our clients to stop telling people about us because we have too much business to handle. It's a fight that creates lifetime clients.

We have a detailed process that I will be walking each of my clients through over the foreseeable future and we need help. I need professionals to help me deliver the same feelings I had as I watched Jim drive away. The same feeling I felt telling my wife that it's all fixed and we have someone in our corner.

If you would like to join me in this pursuit, please reach out to get more details on my process and how you may fit into it.
